The Meal-Conveyance Operation Taking a Meal into Mouth On The Meal-Assistance Robot Using a Flexible Hose and a Wire Driven Mechanism
The meal-assistance robot using a flexible hose and a wire drive mechanism has some peculiarities not shared by usual meal-assistance robots, such as flexibility, safety, simplicity, affinity for humans and lightness in weight. In this paper, we employ the telescopic feature of the flexible hose in order to take a meal into the mouth cavity. The usefulness is demonstrated through experimental results.
