Resista-Clad Plate offers a cladding technology that is a cost effective answer to many corrosion problems experienced in FGD. Its mechanical and corrosion properties, performance characteristics and track record of in service FGD applications since 1985 have been quantified and summarized. The results show a technology of metal bonding, that is comparable to other available cladding techniques, that should be given due consideration in the design of FGD systems.
