摘要

A continuous production technique of ultrafine metal powders using the hydrogen plasma -metal reaction method developed by Uda et al was tested . The experimental equipment designed in the present study can be operated continuously for about eight hours, and the production rate of metal powders, which are less than 100nm in partical size, is several tens of grams per hour for ordinary metals. The relation between production rate and partial pressure of hydrogen, the lasting time and the shape of the arc fire are investigated.
