A Simulation Model for a Separation Process in A Biotechnological System

摘要

In this contribution, the authours propose a simulation model of a pervaporation module coupled with a fermenter. In the first part, they suggest a mathematical modelling based on the physical laws which rule the separation process. Then, by means of numerical analysis, they describe the algorithm which allows to obtain a numerical solution to the previous equations. Finally, a precise example, allows to verify the validity of the model. Where it is difficult to get measures, the obtained resulted results show that the proposed model is an interesting tool allowing to appreciate the matter transfer.
