摘要

The soaring price of oil, the energy crisis, the awareness of global warming, environmental protection and the evolution of new energy are the most important issues of the 21st century. This research investigated how new energy innovators' different lifestyles affect their media usage regarding new energy and their new energy product adoption. This paper focused on hybrid cars and hydrogen vehicles as examples for new energy product adoption. Adopting new vehicles to save money or help protect our environment has gradually gotten more attention in our society ( Note: please refer to figure 1 below as an example). Hybrid Cars and Hydrogen vehicles are now viewed as new products which have some potential to help solve the problem under the pressure of those issues mentioned above.
