The novel cationic liposome-DDC and p53-plasmid DNA complex were prepared and determined the transfection efficiency and antitumor activity of the p53 in OVCAR-3 cells. DDC/DNA complexes showed more increased p53 expression levels compared with the lopofectin/DNA complexes. The DDC mediated p53 transfection efficently inhibited the OVCAR-3 cell growth by apoptosis.
