A combination delayed and prolonged releaseformulation was developed based on a bilayer tablet,partially coated with an insoluble coating usingelectrostatic dry powder deposition technology(EDPDT). Dissolution was not affected by pH andthe delay could be adjusted by varying the content ofthe exposed upper tablet layer.
