Research on the Influence of SMEs' organizational Innovative Climate on Employees' creativity

In a knowledge-based economy, innovation has drawn more and more attention from our society. As the most active player of the national economy, SMEs benefit from the sustainable innovative capability that originated from their employees' creativity, therefore it is meaningful in practice to study on how to enhance employees' creativity. This paper takes the organizational innovation climate as the research subject, which is one of the key factors that affect the employees' creativity in SMEs, models the influence of organizational innovation climate on the employees' creativity and brings forward the corresponding supposition. To prove the reasonability of such theoretic model, the paper puts forward a Structural Equation Model (SEM), which is tested by a large sample including 167 Chinese SMEs. The empirical results are complied with the paper's research design and hypotheses: the organizational environment, leadership art, task features and individual impetus of the organizational innovation climate can affect the employees' creativity, among which, the individual impetus has the most influential effect .On the base of those , this paper proposes some relevant suggestion.
