With the recent unparralelled advancement in the effective carbon reduction strategies and sustainable energy development technologies, the global focus on climate change has dramatically influenced the status of local, state, regional, national, and international energy policies - not only the traditional emphasis of energy policy on energy/power generation, distribution, and conservation has changed remarkably, but also the devastating impacts of global climate change has required reconfiguration of the Comprehensive Energy Policy priorities.
