In general, particles are treated as suspension. And dispersant is added to control dispersion or aggregation states. It is commonly thought that the amount of adsorption is the factor to decide the states. Our experimental result, however, indicated strange behavior. We found that the amount of adsorption depended on the particle concentration. And, the adsorbed amount decreased after absorption was saturated. The size of dispersant was measured by DLS. As a result, a possibility that the dispersant existed in the larger size than particles was suggested at almost same dispersant concentration in slurry. The assumption from the fact is suggested but in order to prove this assumption it is necessary further experiments.
