In 2007, PIARC will post a new online information service that will be available toeveryone: the directory of organizations offering professional training courses in the fieldsof roads and road transportation in its member countries.This project will allow road practitioners who are seeking professional developmentopportunities to find organizations that are able to meet their needs, especially outside oftheir own country, and will be of use to administrations or institutions that are organizingtraining courses, because it will provide quick access to existing course programs. Inaddition, this directory will represent a unique opportunity for professional trainingorganizations to be listed and easily found in a worldwide catalogue.The directory will include a list of training organizations, along with information concerningeach organization and a link to its website. A search tool will allow users to find thecourses offered by country, by language, by theme, or by instructional approach(traditional or online).
