The Confederation Bridge SHM slow speed data management system was developed to collectand manage the slow-speed sensor data and fibre optic sensor (FOS) data from the bridge, and toprovide tools to aid in the assessment of the real-time long-term continuous monitoring of thestructural behavior of the Confederation Bridge using the data collected. A generic design of theSHM data management system was proposed and its implementation on the ConfederationBridge projected has proven to meet the system requirements. Several computationallyinexpensiveand model-free data analysis tools have also been developed and tested with the datacollected from the Confederation Bridge. The experience gained during the development of thissystem is also valuable for the development of other future systems. The system is now ready tobe used as a tool by structural engineers and researchers in the analysis of the data and relatedbehaviour of the bridge.
