摘要

A built-up beam with wood based connectors what is called wooden made shear plate is proposed. Theoretical model is also presented here to calculate the characteristic values necessary in structural design such as rigidity and allowable loads.The experimental results showed that proposed joint system contribute to the improvement in deflection of the composite beams.Compared with the experimental results, presented method showed good agreements and it was proved to be acceptable for designing the built-up beams subjected to uniformly distributed load or concentrated load.
