The in vivo study of the microencapsulatedantisense oligonucleotide to NF-kB in rat model wasconducted to determine the pharmacokineticparameters of the drug. The bioavailability ofmicroencapsulated antisense to NF-kB drug was alsodetermined after multiple dosing. The quantificationof the anti-sense drug was conducted by usingoligreen fluorescence assay. The drug was found tobe 71% bioavailabile after oral dosing of themicroencapsulated drug. The release profile of thedrug was also determined.
