In this paper, we propose a new method of rule acquisition which is based on Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm to produce a high performance rule database for network intrusion detection. The latest Quantum-behaved Particle Swarm Optimization (QPSO) is introduced and improved to overcome trapping local optimal solution. In addition, fitness function which is more adapt to practical conditions of intrusion detection is proposed, which can screen out rules which have lower rate of false alarm from the process of rule acquisition. The experimental results show that this algorithm can improve effectively the global search performance and obtain preferable rule database for intrusion detection.

机译：在本文中，我们提出了一种基于粒子群优化算法的规则获取新方法，以产生用于网络入侵检测的高性能规则数据库。引入并改进了最新的量子行为粒子群优化（QPSO），以克服捕获局部最优解的问题。另外，提出了一种更适合入侵检测实际条件的适应度函数，可以从规则获取过程中筛选出误报率较低的规则。实验结果表明，该算法可以有效提高全局搜索性能，并获得较好的入侵检测规则数据库。
