摘要

Mal-operation of the transformer differential protection will occasionally take place after the removal of the external fault. Based on the transformer transient mathematical model, the transient process during the isolation of transformer external fault is analyzed according to flux variation and the corresponding formula is obtained. Then the principle of recovery inrush in operating transformer is studied in depth. Finally, considering the piecewise magnetization characteristics are linear, the models of transformer during an external fault are built for simulation, and the influence of recovery inrush on relay protection is analyzed.
