Silicon Content and Isothermal Quenching Process' Influence on High Silicon Cast Steel Organization and Performance

In order to strengthen the high siLicon cast steel, we research the influence of high siLicon cast steel heat treatment process of microstructure and mechanical properties by using appLication of relevant laboratory equipment, instruments and methods of the siLicon content. The results show that in the scope of the experiment, when siLicon content is about 2.65%, we can get no carbide austenitizing organizations composition of ferrite and rich carbon austenite, when the temperature and time of austenitizing is 900 °C × 120min and the temperature and time of Isothermal quenching is 320 × 30-120min °C, we can obtain better organization and comprehensive mechanical properties. A new generation of high siLicon cast steel has high performance-to-price. It can be used in mining, power, cement, building materials, railway and other industrial areas.
