摘要

This paper compares the production efficiency of the merged firms arising from foreign capital mergers and acquisions and domestic funded mergers and acquisitions through an empirical testing.Following a double difference matching estimates and contrast regression analysis,it is concluded that foreign capital mergers and acquisitions can improve the total factor productivity of the merged firm all the more.However,the significant role of foreign capital mergers and acquaints only appears 2-3 years later after the mergers and acquisitions.In that case,the author proposed that government should make further efforts to optimize and improve the investment environment and capital market in China to guide investors' rational behavior.
