It is beneficial for improving generation benefit to optimize the daily load dispatch for cascaded hydropower station with time-shared price.It is beneficial for improving generation benefit to optimize the daily load dispatch for cascaded hydropower station in different electric price market.In accordance with the peak-flat-valley period interval electric price,the daily load dispatch models for cascaded hydropower station is built and solved by chaotic genetic algorithm (CGA).Take a cascaded hydropower station for instance; the daily optimization operation results are comparative analyzed in simple electric price and time-shared price.The results show that the dispatch models and solving method are reasonable and the economic benefit is remarkable.
