摘要

Nowadays, waste has been one of the most important global environmental problems. Although the calculation of the amount of waste being generated presents a problem on a global scale, there is no doubt that the amount is continuing to increase, not only with the increases in population and economic activities, but also in terms of per capita generation rate. Along with the progress of the modern technology and environmental awareness, "waste" is also can be used as "resource". Therefore, there is a tight logistic relationship between waste management and resource management. This paper reviewed the waste management and showed the basic condition in current Word firstly, then, based on the description of the general elements of current waste management system in China. After that, the brief analysis and evaluation of China waste management system is given. Due to these, this paper proposed a simple transition model, including the logistic, technical, and economical aspects, followed by the discussions of the barriers in the transition process. Clear legislation, CDM fund-raising and sustainable revenue source are the main methods to solve the barriers, in addition, take into account the particular condition in China and reduce the economic risks; it would be useful and valuable to carry out the pilot projects firstly.
