摘要

The clarification of the mechanism of boiling heat transfer or the improvement in heat transfer coefficient is important for enhancing the performance of heat exchangers in various devices, such as air conditioners and chillers for machines.As shown in Figure 1, the ideal boiling phenomena are as follows: the formation of many nucleation points on the boiling surface and the flow of small bubbles without coalescing with each other. If large bubbles remain on the surface, a heat insulation layer is formed. Here, a critical heat flux, the thermal limit of a phenomenon where a phase change occurs during heating, is one of the indexes for the degree of heat transfer [1][2].
