The relationship between battery internal resistance and its capacity is a typical question for battery quick test. Generally, users test battery internal resistance (or conductance or impedance depending on different manufacturers) to get estimation of capacity and then test real capacity with a battery discharge, which will check if the estimation of capacity is corresponding to the real capacity. In this way you will know if the handheld quick tester is accurate or not. Currently battery quick testers in the market could not accurately evaluate battery capacity, which makes users confused. Meanwhile, manufacturers of battery testers use different ways (DC injection, AC signal discharge and so on) and signal frequencies for measurement. Therefore, testing result of the same battery sometimes could be totally different.
