The Blue Economy is a worldwide leading initiative seeking to bridge the gap between value generation and positive socio-environmental impact. In the paper at hand we aim to analyze one specific business model innovation developed by the Blue Economy and creating an established proof of concept for it. For this, we use System Dynamics modeling and create six sub-models in order to transparently analyze the case in a traceable approach. We believe this contributes to a better resilience in society and the strengthening of democracy.
