摘要

Objective: This project is to observe the efficacy of Mesalamine in the treatment of ulcerative colitis. Methods: 156 patients with ulcerative colitis in group A were treated with Mesalamine tablets 0.5 g three times a day. 144 patients in Group B were treated with sulfasalazine orally (produced by Shanghai Fuda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Batch No. 041204) 1.0 g, 4 times a day. The course of the treatment was 6 weeks. Results: 110 cases were markedly effective in Group A, and 30 cases were effective, while 16 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 89.7%. 96 cases were markedly effective in Group B, and 16 cases were effective, while 32 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 77.8%. The total effective rate of Group A was better than that of Group B. Conclusion: Mesalamine is effective and safe in the treatment of ulcerative colitis.
