This paper presents experimental and computational studies on the change of noise generation from slat tracks by changing the detail geometries using a three-element high-lift wing noise research model in JAXA. Influence of the detail parts of a realistic slat track geometry such as a cavity on the main wing to retract/deploy the slat track, slat track rail geometry, and panel attached to the slat track in order to cover the opened cavity on the lower surface of the main wing when the slat is retracted are investigated by the wind tunnel test using a microphone array measurement. The computational results identify the change of the flowfields and regions with high pressure fluctuation level by the slat track shapes.
