The integration of large scale energy from renewable sources into the local power grid due to the German "Energiewende" will be a critical issue in the upcoming years. Wind energy is one of the most promising renewable energy sources and therefore the harvesting of large scale wind energy is of prime interest. The demanding issue is to balance the grid with high temporary feed in of renewable power, and to create cross-links in the energy system. Therefore, innovative energy storage technologies like Power-to-Gas plants play an important role in a sustainable energy system with a high share of renewable energy sources [1].
