摘要

Jingdezhen is known as the "Porcelain Capital" because it has been producing pottery for 1,700 years. Based on rich heritage resources, Jingdezhen, ceramic creative industry has witnessed rapid development in recent years. However, like other cities with long civilization, Jingdezhen is facing many challenge in its urbanization process. This research takes Jingdezhen as a case study to analyze the state-of-the-art of jingdezhen's urban development project. The research also use Bakklandet in Norway as reference to conduct Comparative study. It attemps to discuss what is the sustainable approach to the urban development for a historical city like Jingdezhen.
