This article proposes a broadband circuit analog absorber based on double rings embedded with lumped resistors, which can realize effective absorption (above 90%) over 5.21 GHz to 18.16 GHz, with a relative absorption bandwidth about 110.8%. The simulation results exhibit that the circuit analog absorber maintains excellent wideband absorbing characteristic for different angles of incident wave. A prototype of the absorber is measured to verify the absorbing performance, and the measured results are in good agreement with the simulated responses. The proposed absorber has great application prospects in electromagnetic compatibility and stealth technology.
