This paper describes the design and fabrication of a launcher system for effective demonstration of principles of flight using glider. Two easily re-configurable gliders were fabricated from polystyrene and Styrofoam~(TM). A portable cross-bow type launcher box was also designed and fabricated, which also serves as a box to store the disassembled components of the two gliders. Repeatability experiments were carried out to quantify the performance of the launcher, in terms of variability in the flight trajectory in different launches. The trajectories of the glider for various wing incidence angles, wing locations, launch angles and launch velocities were experimentally tracked and visualized. The repeatability experiments confirmed that the launcher achieves flight trajectories with much lower variability compared to those obtained by hand-launching. The tracked trajectories also indicated that the glider and launcher combination can be utilized to effectively explain the effect of various aircraft configuration settings on the resulting flight trajectories.
