In this modern civilization, bigger dams have gained more significance with its effective utilization to generate power and other primary resources required in our everyday lives. Ostensibly, dams are one reason that created nations have made so much monetary progress. Pretty much consistently to-day movement relies on the usefulness of dams. Despite the hype, it also have a number of challenges in the evaluation of current status of the dams, which later arises the need to refresh the data at regular intervals to appropriately evaluate the current dam status. In order to automate the functionality of dams, an IoT framework has been developed with the advanced remote sensing features. The proposed framework has the ability to initiate constant alarms regarding the current status of the dam and also intimates when the dam qualities has been changed from the normal conditions. To enhance the wear and tear in the structure of dams, a temperature sensor has been employed. In a nutshell, the proposed architecture aims to automate the working process of dams irrespective of their traditional diverse conditions.
