Route-like Demand Location Problem Under Competitive Environment

In this paper, we research on a location problem when the demand is continuous in a route under competitive environment. Route-like demand is satisfied by two competitive logistics points and the distribution depends on their different utility. We use linear integral instead of discrete points to describe the demand. Considering the feature of route-like demand and the competitive location problem, we innovate the existing research from many aspects such as demand function, distance function etc, and form a objective function of profit. Through the design of small-scale calculation examples and the application of genetic algorithm to solve the problem, finally obtain locations and scales for newly built target in a reasonable range, as well as related profits and costs. Furthermore, we based on the changes in utility parameters to analyze its effect on the target value.
