Interest in renewable energies has increased as an alternative to traditional energies, which are disappearing, as well as being non-polluting to the environment, which makes them extremely important for sustainable development. Through this paper, we present the legal system of renewable energies in Algeria, by addressing the concept and the most important national programs for renewable energies in the light of the legal texts governing them in Algeria.
