the frequency response for rain droplet vibration is investigated through two experiments: one subjected to a mechanical vibration system, the other one subject to modulated electrical field. The motion of the rain droplet is captured through high speed recording and the magnitude of the vibration has been analyzed against the excitation frequency as well as the volume of the vibrating droplets. It has been found that each vibrating rain droplet has a fixed natural/resonance frequency where the magnitude of vibration reaches its maxima, and this natural / resonance frequency is determined by its volume.
