Increase in the traffic volume requires construction of new roads. In Korea, most of the pavements are covered with an asphalt concrete or Portland cement concrete. Therefore a new pavement system is highly demanded to protect the natural environments around the roads. The purpose of the study is to investigate properties and applications of soilcrete using soil mixed with Fly ash, Gypsum and Cement(FGC) stabi lizer and then to evaluate the benefits to be gained by soilcrete pavement when the existing pavements are replaced by soilcrete.
