An overview of the S-520-25th project is presented. The sounding rocket mission includes two engineering andscientific experiments. In particular, it proposes and describes the deployment of the electro conductive bare tapetether (which is the primary mission), and a new method employed for the reliable quick deployment. In additionpaper describes preliminary qualitative tests which were conducted to evaluate the concept.
