Post-fire resource management and reforestation programs depend on how accurate this information is. It is important to our understanding of burn severity for post-fire forest. Remote sensing is the most practical method to obtain the information of forest fire. The objectives of this research were to test the use of DMC airborne multispectral images for mapping burn severity. Indices test includes the difference normalized difference vegetation index (dNDVI), difference second principal component axes (dPC2). The multi-temporal indices (dNDVI and dPC2) were useful for burn severity mapping.
