There are eight parts in the paper of the research on the production planning and control in shipbuilding engineering based on the supply chain management (SCM). First of all, the concept of shipbuilding Engineering based on the SCM is given in this paper. What’s more, the production processes for shipbuilding is analyzed. A general model for the production planning in shipbuilding engineering based on the SCM is presented. At last, a production control model to supervise the shipbuilding process is established and two strategies are found for the development of the productive forces.
