Using solution polymerization, we have success synthesized PAM/ATP adsorbent by grafting acryl amide (AM)onto the ¦Ã-Methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane (KH-570)modified ATP (OATP). We carried out a series of experiments to find KH-570 modification of the optimal conditions. Results showed that KH-570 modification of the proper conditions is:KH-570 dosage 5ml (relative to 6g ATP), modification time 4h, modification temperature 60¡æ. Thermal behavior and the structure of the materials were characterized by thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and X-ray diffraction (XRD).
