Rett syndrome (RTT) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by loss of acquired skills after a period of normal development in infant girls. It is caused by the mutations in the gene MECP2. The treatment of RTT is based on a multidisciplinary approach in order to maximize the patient's abilities. This work reports the use of the Oriented Dialog technique, combined with traditional protocols of speech therapy and physiotherapy, in the case of a 10-year-old girl with RTT diagnose.
