Indoor environmental quality (IEQ) has a strong impact on environmental health factors, such as sick building syndrome (SBS) symptoms, thermal comfort, performance, and pleasantness. This paper demonstrates a technique for integrating building energy simulation (BES) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) with a control algorithm for CO_2 demand controlled ventilation (DCV) to promote optimized IEQ.
