摘要

A novel high resolution 3D quantitative viability measurement method was developed and utilized to determine the spatial viability of tissue phantoms and ex vivo tissue in response to laser irradiation in combination with SWNHs. This method provides a quantitative tool for measuring the treatment region for a give set of laser parameters and nanoparticles properties which will provide the insight necessary to tailor therapy protocols for a desired outcome. Ultimately this method can be used for assessing sample viability at and below the surface in response to a wide range of therapies for which the tissue response will have a spatial component such as cryotherapy, electroporation, ultrasound, microwave, or biological signaling.
