This paper presents the results of research to investigate a practical approach to measuring multiple facets of well-being. Measures of work characteristics, coping, and personality were assessed individually and in combination for their relationship with well-being including depression, anxiety, mood, stress, and satisfaction. The analysis demonstrates individual and combined associations between predictor variables and outcomes. The result is a set of single-item measures which can be used to assess well-being and the factors associated with various well-being outcomes.
