The new media has been widely used by the public with the rapid development of mobile network. At the same time, it also has an important impact on the study and life of the public (especially undergraduates). In the new media environment, it is easier and more convenient for undergraduates to acquire knowledge. The phenomenon of learning burnout has appeared in undergraduates and developed with the development of the new media. According to the characteristics of undergraduates' learning, combined with the characteristics and influence of the new media, the causes of the new media on undergraduates' learning burnout were analyzed, on the basis of relevant literature research at home and abroad in the paper. The three characteristics of "fragmented reading", "passive acceptance" and "over dependence" in the new media environment were analyzed respectively. According to the research results and the influence path of the new media on undergraduates' learning, the causes of the new media on undergraduates' learning burnout were found.
