摘要

With the development of mobile network and smart phone, mobile social media is playing an irreplaceable role in the learning and life of college students. While bring convenience, it can also cause fear of missing out (FoMO). Therefore, it is necessary to study the factors influencing college students' FoMO in the context of mobile social media. In this paper, the effects of various factors on FoMO of college students are investigated by means of questionnaire survey, hypotheses are established, and SPSS20.0 is used for data analysis to verify hypotheses. It concludes that gender, daily spending time of mobile social media, loneliness and stress have significant effects on FoMO, and finally puts forward suggestions to deal with college students' FoMO.
