This paper presents a new approach for nonlinear transient thermalanalysis of electronic systems, taking into account the temperaturedependency of the convective heat transfer coefficient. The proposedmethod is based on using implicit integration techniques to solve thedifferential equations representing the heat transfer process. Comparedto standard iterative relaxation methods, the proposed solutionalgorithm results in faster convergence rate and improved computationalefficiency
