Researchers, academics and practitioners from Canada have concerned themselves with theoretical and practical issues that they feel are vital to the profession or the foundations of information science. This panel hopes to give a sense of the more applied concerns of information science in the Canadian experience, such as the cost, role and use of CD-ROMs and problems in the storage of library materials.
