Researchers, academics and practitioners from Canada have concerned themselves with theoretical and practical issues that they feel are vital to the profession or the foundations of information science. This panel hopes to give a sense of information science in the Canadian experience, its foundations, issues, research agendas and/or domain. Speakers from diverse schools in Canada will offer perspectives on information science and its concerns.
