摘要

Planning for the facillity of today must consider past, present, and future uses. These general considerations are compounded by serious environmental implications which can include factors never before considered as a part of facilities planning. Many of these fac ors relate directly to the structure design such as stormwater drainage control, hazardous materials containment and storage, and neighborhood impact stements. Other factors seem only remotely invoved with facility planning yet have a direct bearing on present and future liability. Some of these factors include prior use assessments, verifiable employee training, emergency contingency planning, and other. Each of these arease should be a concern to the facilities planner since the current envfironmental codes make the omission of these factors severely punishable by law.
