Technical and Economic Aspects of Material Incoming Inspection to Assure Quality and Safety of High-tech Products.

摘要

The paper presents an overview and results of analysis of various technical and economic aspects of the material quality incoming inspection system that supports the overall quality management system and is aimed at assuring quality and reliability of high-tech products and safety of systems based on these products. The quality of materials and electronic components is the key element in assuring quality and reliability of high-tech products and safety of systems based on these products. The growing number of counterfeit items on the open market demands enhancing the scope of incoming inspection, applying more and more complex and labor-intensive test methods and advanced analytical equipment. IDEA-STD-1010B standard [1] covers the issues related to application of electronic components available on the open market, helping the consumers to identify non-standard or counterfeit items. The situation with the materials on the open market is similar to the one with the electronic components. Since it is impossible to inspect all declared specifications of all types of materials used in the modern high-tech products (organic and inorganic, domestic and imported), there is a need for technical and economic analysis of all the aspects of this matter. This paper presents some of the approaches and data related to incoming inspection of materials and this analysis.
