As atmospheric and physical processes have been well understood, the hydrological and biospherical processes became a new target of exploration in order to raise the predictability of climate. In this context, numerous hydrological and biospherical models have been developed in the past two decades. However, the variability and inherent complexity in these processes are still beyond our knowledge. Data of long-term measurements that covers meteorological, hydrological and biological aspects of the land-atmosphere interaction will help us to advance. In a temperate deciduous forest, the canopy structure and the biological activity show clear seasonal variation, which induces seasonal change in the energy, water and CO_2 exchange. This feature of the forest is advantageous to study the biological effects on the flux, hence on the regional climate and CO_2 budget.
